Playa Gaviota Azul (Blue Seagull Beach) is probably one of the best public beaches in Cancun. It is not commonly known due to the abundance of other equally beautiful beaches in the Hotel Zone, but what makes it even more special is the abundance of fish to see when snorkeling along the breakwater. This is a truly amazing beach. Facilities are available at the entrance, as well as a 7-Eleven convenience store for snacks and beverages. The beach is located right in the center of the Hotel Zone's party zone.
